San Benito, Peru

Brief Overview

As has often been the case during our travels, plans change. Originally we were going to volunteer in Cusco for an organization called Seeds of Hope. However, their Cusco center got closed down effectively making us search for a new project. Furthermore, my stay in Peru was cut short due to some other obligations and I was forced to cancel my own participation in a humanitarian project here. Pablo, however, joined up with our friend Juan Quiros (the one who drove with us from Daytona to Mexico City at the beginning of our odyssea) in San Benito, Peru – a small town Northeast of Trujillo in Northern Peru – to work on a small project there during the two weeks I would be away.
